Tall Fact File is an independent reference site about one question people search for every day: how tall is that person, really?
What we do
We build height fact files on actors, musicians, athletes, K-pop idols, models and online creators. Each fact file pulls together a person’s commonly reported height in feet and centimeters, how that figure has changed across sources, and how they compare with co-stars, partners and rivals.
We also make free tools. Our Height Comparison tool draws any two people side by side at true scale, and the Height Percentile Calculator shows where your own height sits among American adults.
How a fact file is put together
- We collect the height figures a person has given in interviews, plus listings from teams, leagues, agencies and official profiles.
- We check those figures against each other and against photos with people of known height.
- We publish the figure that is most consistent, round it sensibly and note when sources disagree.
- We review popular fact files when new information appears, such as an updated league measurement.
The details are on our Accuracy & Sources page.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish private information, guess at medical details or use paparazzi photos. Heights are public facts about public careers, and that is where we keep our focus.
Who runs the site
Tall Fact File is written and maintained by a small desk of editors who follow film, music and sport. Articles are published under the Fact File Desk byline.
